Colour filter glasses in the Schott®, Hoya® range cover a colour spectrum range from 200 nanometers to 1 micron. See stock. Additional wavelengths can be achieved using filter glasses from Pilkington® and Corning®. Applications which need a standard RGB filter can be selected from all these glasses.

When a colour glass is needed for its colour for industrial or commercial applications there is a range of coloured material in polished sheets that can be heat-strengthened in standard thickness.

Signal glass in various colours is available for aviation, marine, railway and automotive industries also in standard thickness.

Welding glasses GWF filters are supplied in various densities cut out of sheets of normal thickness and toughened.

MUG2 are silicated glasses in the deep violet for fluorescence excitation. Transmitting UV radiation in the 360mm range. Used in special lamps for excitation of fluorescent materials. When exposed to high temperatures MUG2 should be tempered.

All these polished sheet glasses can be scribed, water-jet cut and supplied with ground edges. Further details see custom page.
