Colour Conversion Filters Schott BG34, FG13 colour glass filters can be used to increase or decrease the colour temperature of radiation using their spectral transmission properties.
The degree to the precise measurement required is controlled by polishing the filter to an exact thickness. Colour conversion filters have the spectral values to switch over and back from artificial light. They transform incandescent lighting of low colour temperature to allusion of daylight.
Colour conversion filters are used in lighting technology, colour photography, illumination and microscopy.
Coated Glass Conversion Filters
Conversion filters using colour temperature will change the spectral range of a light source. The benefits of these filters are high transmission, high mechanical and chemical stability. Heat resistance up to 350°C with no colour degradation.
There are two types of coated filters available.
Conversion filter Unaxis TL60 increases colour temperature of a light source with T = 3200K (light of halogen lamp) to Tf2 = 6000K (daylight).
Conversion filter Unaxis TK32 reduces colour temperature of a light source with Tf1 = 3200K (light of halogen lamp).
These coated conversion filters are available from a standard thickness of 1.10mm custom cut made to order from sheets 160 x 110mm.
