Longpass filters made from Schott® and Hoya® filter glass have low transmission in the short wave region (blocking range) and high transmission in the longwave region (passband).
The filter glass is lapped and polished to specified thickness to produce a given spectral transmission covering the ultraviolet visible to near-infrared and infrared pass regions.
Schott longpass filters ultraviolet UV transmitting filters include Schott WG-225, WG-335, WG-305, WG-345, WG360, WG295, WG-280, GG-375 filters.
Schott yellow glasses longpass visible (VIS) sharp cut transmitting filters include Schott GG-400, GG-420, GG-435, GG-455, GG-475, GG-495.
Schott Orange glasses longpass visible (VIS) transmitting filters include Schott OG-515, OG-530, OG-550, OG-570, OG-590, RG-610, RG-630, RG-645, RG-665 filters.
Schott red glasses longpass infrared transmitting filters include Schott RG-695, RG-715, RG-780, RG-830, RG-1000, RG-9 filters.
Hoya longpass ultraviolet UV transmitting sharp cut filters include Hoya UV-30,
UV-34, L-37, L-38 filters.
Hoya longpass visible (VIS) transmitting sharp cut yellow glass filters include Hoya L-52, Y-44, Y-48, Y-50, Y-52 filters.
Hoya longpass visible (VIS) transmitting sharp cut orange glass filters include Hoya Y-52, O-54, O-56, O-58, R-60, R-62, R-64, R-66 filters.
Hoya longpass infrared (IR) transmitting sharp cut red and black glass filters include Hoya R-70, R-72, I-76, IR-80, IR-83, IR-85, RM-100, RT-830 filters.
